K5 Studios is an independent recording studio located on Cable Street in the heart of East London. We have two recording studios, one live room and two broadcast studios offering a choice of environment for high-end, accurate recording and listening. We specialise in recording vocals and mixing audio for clients from the music, radio and film industries.

Cable Street and St George’s Town Hall The studios are set within a listed building at the site of the battle of Cable Street. In 1936, a violent confrontation took place between the police and local communities who resisted a planned march through the East End by the British Union of Facists. From Victorian times through to the 1950s, Cable Street had a reputation for cheap lodgings, brothels, drinking inns and opium dens!
